It’s time for an update on my life! I moved to the beautiful island of Hawaii! I will be on Oahu!  I can’t believe it, living the island life! A question I have already been asked — “why?” I wanted a different scenery and thought why not?! I drove my car from Chicago to California so it can be shipped to Hawaii, made some stops along the way. I wanted to share a few of my favorite things from the places I visited. Can’t wait to share my Hawaii Journey with you.

First stop: Salt Lake City, Utah
I have been to SLC a few times, such a beautiful city. If you don’t love a super crowded city but what pretty scenery – you need to visit.
Stay – I stayed at The Grand Americaone of the most beautiful hotels I have been to. Has the best views of the city.
Eat – The Roof for dinner, Even Stevens for lunch, Eva’s Bakery for Breakfast, Campos Coffee.
Things to do: Salt Flats, Big Cottonwood Canyon, Temple Square, Great Salt Lake

Yosemite Park
We were only here one day so I don’t have a ton of recommendations. I did want to share where we stayed because it was amazing! We stayed at RushCreek Lodge, can’t wait to go back. Right by the park and so many activities to do at the Lodge. The best part is making s’more’s at night.

Lake Tahoe
We went skiing at Heavenly. Since I grew up in Michigan the skiing is pretty much on hills, it was an upgrade to ski on a mountain. So gorgeous!

My heart, California. I have so many recommendations. I’ll share a few of my top favorites.
Eat – Urth Cafe, In N Out (OF COURSE!), Lemonade, EP LP Los Angeles, Alfred’s for coffee, Great White in Venice for Lunch.
TO DO – Hike to Hollywood Sign, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica, Biking on the boardwalk, Comedy show at The Comedy Central.  0Z0A0089
